Caldera of 1 million years old, that worth going down

Caldera de Los Marteles

A volcanic caldera in Gran Canaria.

The brightest sun can give way to the thickest fog in a matter of minutes on clear days, caused by the condensation of clouds on the humid windward hillside, transforming it on the downwind side (so called the Foehn effect). As a result, you can see trees, completely covered in moss. Dried cactus flowers of [Agave americana|https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agave_americana] that looks like logs are another attraction, especially when you are walking down, bypassing them.
